I am most influenced by someone who has aligned themselves with purpose, with integrity, with dignity. I have kept going back to the well of Christina Sell and Darren Rhodes for over 25 years– so there is Influence there. What I continue to learn from Christina is a guiding light for me in my teaching, but more than anything, in my daily life. I am less concerned with a particular tradition than I am with the clarity of the teacher and the potency of the teachings. I have been profoundly influenced by the many warrior women and mamas in my life. There has been nothing as earth-shaking as tending to and loving my children and what I have learned from other women who have walked the path before me are some of the biggest gifts. I’ve always been drawn to the rebels and the free thinkers- anyone who is making the conscious choice to do something differently than how the world seems to tell us we need to– they get my attention.
